Privacy notice

This notice explains what personal data Ubeeno collects, why, where it is kept and how you can have it corrected or deleted. It is written to meet India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Last updated 30 September 2026.

When you request an invite

We collect your name, email address, and — if you give them — your phone number, what kind of investor you are and any note you add. We use them only to review your request and contact you about your invitation. We record the time you agreed to this.

When you use Ubeeno

• Your email address, to sign you in. We email you a one-time code each time; there is no password.
• The statements you upload (such as your CAS or broker tax P&L) and what we read from them — holdings, transactions and values — to build your portfolio and compute your capital gains.
• A statement's password, if it has one, is used once to open the file and is then discarded. We do not keep it.
• We never ask for your broker, bank or income-tax login.

Where it is kept, and who can see it

Your data is stored in Google Cloud's Mumbai region, encrypted at rest. Only you can see your account. If a member of our team opens your account to help you, that access is written to your own activity log, where you can see it.

We do not sell your data.

How long we keep it

Invite requests are kept until we have answered them and for up to 12 months afterwards, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Account data is kept while your account is open. You can delete everything from within Ubeeno at any time.

Your rights

You can ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or erased, and nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf. You can withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it: write to hello@ubeeno.com and we will stop using your details. We aim to respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
